Hi, I'm Dr.Yasmin. With a vision of creating a thriving mixed practice myself and my Husband Craig started Chamberlain Road Veterinary Clinic in 2017. Since then we have not stopped working round the clock with immense pride in growing our team and facilities to ensure our clients and patients are getting the best experience and care. Nurse Mikayla

Veteranian Nurse

I grew up in Calliope with guinea pigs, chickens, a cat, and dogs. I developed a strong love for animals. Since starting at CRVC, my knowledge and love for pets has only grown, I love my job as a veterinary nurse. It’s such a rewarding job, as they say, do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. I enjoy travel and in my spare time I love strumming out a tune on my guitar, or simply cuddling on the couch with my dachshund Frankie.

Nurse Heidi

Veteranian Nurse

Hi, I'm nurse Heidi. I'm a registered veterinary nurse with a Diploma in Feline Nursing. I started my nursing career in Townsville in 2000 and was fortunate to have a few years off with my kids before coming back to practice my passion (vet nursing & customer care) with Chamberlain Road Vet Clinic. I have always loved all animals but have become particularly obsessed with cats over the last few years since rescuing my two cats from the local shelter.

Nurse Cara (Veterinary Nurse)

Nurse Cara

Veteranian Nurse

Hi I’m Nurse Cara, I grew up here in Calliope and have been around animals my whole life. I’ve always wanted to work in the veterinary industry and help care for all creatures. At Chamberlain Road Vet, I have that opportunity. When I’m not at work, I’m either spending time with my two horses Finchy and Willow as well as the family dogs or I’m out with the chickens, ducks and geese.

Rhi (Animal Attendant)

Rhi

Animal Attendant

Hey I’m Rhi. I’ve recently joined the team here at Chamberlain Vet as an animal attendant. And I’m loving every second! I grew up in WA and had lots of small animals growing up throughout my childhood, so naturally I’ve always wanted to have a job around animals. In my spare time I’m with my 3 year old son down at the beach or park. I have a kelpie named Zarlah, who loves going for walks and swimming at the beach or river.

Tobey

Practice Manager/Customer Care

Hey there, I'm Tobey! Although you might not see me often, I'm always behind the scenes, working with the amazing team at CRVC to ensure a great experience for everyone. I'm responsible for making sure the wheels keep turning and everyone's needs are met. When I'm not in the office, you can find me wakeboarding at the dam (when the boat's not broken), on the soccer pitch or playing my guitars.

Jess (Receptionist_Customer Care)

Jess

Receptionist/Customer Care

I'm originally from Canada and have previous experience in hospitality and customer service. Since joining CRVC, I have been enjoying answering incoming calls, getting to know our clients and their fur family members, while assisting my team members at the clinic. In addition, this role has provided me the opportunity to continuously learn about the care of large and small animals. When I am not working, I'm looking after my two boisterous staffies and my little hermit crabs.

I'm the first friendly face to greet you when you enter Chamberlain Road vets. I have worked in retail for 11 years prior to joining the team here so I am no stranger to providing a great client experience. Except now it's even better as I also get to interact with all your lovely pets as well. Perfect job if you ask me. I have 2 dogs, a staffy cross called Tashie and a German shepherd called Humphrey and a lazy bearded dragon named Buddy.
